HTC One Devices have Now cleared US customs

After Apple's patent complaints against HTC, The HTC One X and the HTC EVO 4G LTE shipments were affected by these proceedings, HTC has resolved the issue and the review process of the US customs is now done and the devices are free to enter the country.


HTC statement announced the End of the import ban:
"HTC devices have been released by US Customs as they are in compliance with the ITC's ruling. HTC has completed the review process with US Customs and HTC devices have been released, as they are in compliance with the ITC's ruling. Future shipments should continue to enter the US and we are confident that we will soon be able to meet the demand for our products."

BREAKING: Samsung Exec confirms "Galaxy S III / S3" Flagship Name

Samsung tried to hide the name of its "Next Galaxy," but senior VP Robert Yi let it slip at the tail end of its Q1,2012 earnings call today, He clearly said:

"WE ARE ANTICIPATING VERY STRONG DEMAND OF GALAXY S III." said Robert Yi, Samsung exec

Earlier on the call, an exec said that Samsung expects the phone to be the company "most successful smartphone ever," and the device came up a number of other times during the presentation and subsequent Q&A session, but only this once was the actual name of the handset uttered by a Samsung exec in this case in response to a question about marketing plans for the smartphone compared to the Galaxy Note.

Dropbox Extend its free storage by 3GB to all Users

The company has been testing an automatic photo and video upload feature since February, now its rolling-out this feature to all Dropbox users on Mac and Windows. So Update your App to get an Extra 3GB to your Dropbox account storage.




Dropbox says it will gift 500MB of extra space the first time a photo is uploaded using the Camera Upload feature, and every 500MB of photos you upload will earn you an additional 500MB of space up to a total of 3GB extra storage.

Samsung to launch its Own Cloud service on May 3, Naming it sCloud

According to a Korean tech site MK, Samsung is working on its own cloud service service similar to Apple's iCloud. Samsung's new service will called "sCloud". However, Samsung sCloud will offer more capacity and much more service than Apple iCloud. The sCloud service is said to be launching with Samsung's "Next GALAXY" device on May,3 event in london.



In sCloud, There won't be any limitations on the things you could upload, which means it will work like Dropbox and the upcoming Google Drive. It will even come with access to movies, popular TV shows and music. Free and paid content will also be available to various Samsung products such as laptops and tablets.

HTC Says No More hardware QWERTY phones

The HTC design team shed some light on the company future plans during an event in Seattle. Unfortunately the news is not good for the texting addicts HTC is done with the hardware QWERTYs for good.

Even though HTC has created some of the best QWERTY smartphones through the years, nowadays those gadgets are almost extinct. It seems HTC is not happy with their market performance, so it has decided to drop them from its plans.

Unlocked Galaxy S II device in the U.S. is getting ICS Update OTA

Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3 update for the Samsung Galaxy S II made its way several countries around the world.

We Have Good News for U.S. Galaxy S II owners this Morning. All unlocked I9100 devices have begun getting an OTA update . But Only users who have unlocked international devices, the non-carrier branded version of this phone.

While a few owners have reported that they were able to update their unlocked Galaxy S II in the U.S. manually via Kies for a few weeks now, this is the first time we have seen reports of the OTA update taking effect.
